Inspired by Solar Tackle's early nineties Lite-flo Monkey Climbers and Neville's Wind Cheaters, here's my version of the iconic bite indicator that's saw it's first light decades ago.
The MEDIUM Oldskool Fluoro heads in amber, blue and green have a flexible eyelet for optimal line guidance and can hold a 15x3 mm isotope that's nicely protected in a chamber underneath a small grub screw.
The stainless steel needles are made out of one solid piece and come with a thick rubber grommet, just like they did in the old Solar days.
Optional there's this new style of Wind Cheater, the aerial bars. These nicely engineered arms can be screwed onto our straight hockey sticks, making them not only easy to remove for transport but also allow you to switch from a chain set-up with hangers to the aerial bars. A hockey stick is supplied with this optional item.
