After selling out the second version of Metal Monkeys in summer last year, both Gio at Monkey Climber and Geert at geertooms.com have been regularly asked – to the point where arms got twisted- to do another batch of these heavyweight stainless-steel bobbins. We could have done just that, but that’s not how we roll…

At geertooms.com the existing design has been given a facelift, resulting in a nicely curved, updated version that weighs exactly 50 grams. We absolutely wanted to maintain the slick look with the o-rings perfectly tucked away so the concealed o-ring design is still in place. Threads are 2BA to be used with accessories of most established manufacturers.
